Orange County based interior designer, Laury Barnes, is the owner and creative force behind Elizabeth Benefield, Inc. She has always been an entrepreneur and a woman ahead of her time. Her first store opened in 1987, which carried high-end bed linens and unique decorative accessories and furnishings. The stores have always been a favorite go to resource for the interior design trade.
Laury Barnes’ style is eclectic and very inviting. She has a keen eye for color and is not afraid to use it. Her ability to mix old and new with a whimsical twist has brought her commissions across the United States and the Caribbean. Her interiors have a timeless style that could be defined as relaxed elegance. A frequent comment from customers and clients is how good her interiors feel.
Laury Barnes started her own line of fabrics over ten years ago. Her designs are classically fresh and inspired by her love of traveling. She is inspired by everything that is beautiful. It could be a painted ceiling or a French wrought iron gate. The line is very eclectic with the look of 17th and 18th century fabrics from France and England, as well as, Indian, Chinese and Japanese designs. Her gorgeous collection is made in England on fine linens, cottons and silks of uncompromised quality. The fabrics are sold in design showrooms nationwide.
